Recreational Programs:
VPW offers Recreational Programs in a variety of pools in Vancouver, as well as Richmond and Delta.
Star Plus Classes NEW!
These classes are offered at community pools throughout the lower mainland from September to December and then January to May. Swimmers learn the strokes and figures which provide the basis of the sport by working through a series of skill awards (Star levels) developed by Synchro Canada. They will work together as a team to develop a routine that they will perform at our Winter Sneak Peek Watershow or the Year End Watershow in May. Girls (and boys too!) of all ages who are comfortable in deep water (swim level 5) are welcome. Please note that we offer these in pools all over the lower mainland, but we must have sufficient enrollment to run them in each location, so register early to avoid disappointment!
Recreational Team
Our recreational team program, which begins in September of each year, is an opportunity to participate on a team and learn a full routine to music and in this way truly experience the fun, friendship, creativity and fitness that a full synchronized swimming program brings! Swimmers will also continue to earn their “Stars” as they progress through their season.
Synchro Summer Camps
Our camps are a fun filled opportunity to introduce swimmers to the fundamentals of synchronized swimming. These camps are ideal for anyone interested in becoming a member of VPW Synchro Club, either as a star, recreational, or Tier 1 competitive synchronized swimmer.
